Becoming an educator is something that I have always wanted to do. Helping children be successful and independent individuals is important to me. I want to be a positive influence and make a difference for all of my students.
I began my post-secondary education at Sir Wilfrid Laurier University and from there I went to Lambton College for Autism Behavioural and Sciences. The program at Lambton reassured me that teaching was the right path for me and I then enrolled in the Bachelor of Education program.
On this website I will be speaking about social issues in education using resources that were provided to us. I will reflect not only on those resources but also will include my personal opinion and experiences based on the social issue I am speaking about that week.
